MCIC receives, in audience, representative of the Cape Verde International Fashion Hub
Two years ago Cape Verde hosted, for the first time, Miss Cape Verde International, which had as the grand winner Stephany Amado.
The organization of the event wants to put the spotlight again on this event that is much more than a fashion show, but also wants to unite design, the fashion world and the industry around it.
In this regard, the Minister of Culture and Creative Industries, Abraham Vincent, received in audience the representative of the Cape Verde International Fashion Hub, Uyi Aigbe Granville and the representative of the Miss Cape Verde International Organization, Davinia Pires.
For this audience, the representatives came to present projects aimed at promoting regional cooperation in the fashion and creative arts industries, promoting cultural exchange and economic development.
These projects include a training program in fashion design, Kriol Fashion Week and the 2nd edition of Miss Cape Verde International.
Projects that were well received by the Governor, considering the impact the first edition of the event had in the country and the ideas of developing the fashion business.
